This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 06, 2007:
Yes. I have been working on dreams and studying and learning from them since I can remember. I have been documenting them since I was 12. When I was about 19 I first heard the term Lucid Dreaming. When I learned that it was being conscious of dreaming while you are dreaming, I realized then that it was not the usual for most people. I don't always get to a conscious state. I think it depends on what the dream is being used for.
It is a really fun practice. It can be as simple as asking just before sleep to be aware of the dream while you are still in it. Then go to sleep as normal. Don't forget to have a pen and paper by your bed. You may find yourself waking up in the night and that's when to write it down. Do it immediately! If not you will likely forget.

Help

Yes, once. I realized it was a dream, so I got behind the wheel of the car, turned around, and went against the traffic. I was in a freeway and it was jammed with cars. I woke up shortly after that.
Hi there,
I find it interesting when I am dreaming and I may turn or be lightly wakened and you lose the dream, I find it interesting that I can be successful on getting the dream back and working through the dream so that it ends on a positive note.
