What friend or beloved family member lives furthest from you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for August 28, 2008:

My parents and many friends and family members live 3500 miles away.  I travel for work a lot and try to get back often, but really for me Skype has been a blessing.  Skype allows me to check in with video calls for free.  It makes me feel like I am right next door.
